Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Efors mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by Efors ("we", "us"). By creating an account, continuing as a guest or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to accept these Terms.

2. What Efors is

Efors lets you chat with AI companions. Companions are fictional characters generated by artificial intelligence. They are not real people, they do not have feelings or consciousness, and nobody reads or answers your messages in their place. Any resemblance to real persons is coincidental.

AI output can be inaccurate, inappropriate or unexpected. The Service is for entertainment only and is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind (medical, psychological, legal or financial). If you are in crisis or danger, contact local emergency services or a helpline.

3. Your account

• You can use the Service as a guest or with an email account. Guest accounts are tied to your device; if you uninstall the app or sign out, a guest account cannot be recovered. Create an email account to keep your conversations.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service if you are under 18, or try to involve minors in any way.
• Attempt to generate, request or share content that sexualises minors, depicts sexual violence, promotes terrorism, self-harm, hate or harassment, or is otherwise illegal.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten or impersonate any real person.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the Service, or bypass its limits or safety features.
• Resell, rent or commercially exploit the Service or generated content without our permission.

Companions are designed to keep conversations romantic but non-explicit. We may filter, refuse or remove content and may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms.

5. Reporting

You can report any companion message by long-pressing it and choosing Report. We review reports and take action where appropriate. You can also contact us at [email protected].

6. Gems (virtual currency)

• Gems are used for actions such as sending messages and unlocking photos. Current prices are shown in the app.
• Gems can be obtained through bonuses, daily gifts or purchase in the app through Google Play.
• Gems have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or sold, and are not your property; you receive a limited licence to use them in the Service.
• Except where required by law or by Google Play policies, purchases are final and non-refundable. Gems are lost when an account is deleted.
• If a reply or photo fails because of a technical problem on our side, the gems spent on it are returned automatically.

7. Efors Plus subscription

• Efors Plus is an auto-renewing subscription offered weekly, monthly or yearly. Benefits are described in the app and may include discounted gem prices, unlocked premium gallery photos and a larger daily gift.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies.

8. Content and intellectual property

• The Service, its design, software, companion characters, images and trademarks belong to us or our licensors.
• You keep any rights you have in the messages you write. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process and transmit them as needed to operate the Service (for example, to generate replies).
• Subject to these Terms, you may use AI-generated content from your conversations for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Generated images of our fictional companions are part of the Service. We may keep them and show them to other users.

9. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, companions or prices at any time. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 8, 11 and 12) survive.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
